Vicki Bauman graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Stanislaus with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Communication. Her current title is Director II of the Stanislaus County Office of Education’s Prevention Programs Department. She has direction over an organizational unit involving 13 professional and other level employees including several management positions. She is responsible for a diversified, multiple countywide technical area with a budget of over $23 million.
She is Regional Coordinator for TUPE Title IV, Safe Schools, gang risk Intervention Programs, Healthy Start, After School Education and Safety Programs, 21st century Community Learning Centers, SCOE Prevention Programs Leadership Academy… and is overseeing the grant writing process for more programs to serve her region.
As if this were not enough, Vicki has made commitments to several committees. She serves on the Safe Schools Commission, represents County Superintendent Martin Petersen on the Stanislaus County Children and Families Commission and Children’s Council, the United way Children and Youth Impact Council, Child Abuse Prevention Committee, Drop Out Prevention Committee, Prop 63 Committee Member, Binge Drinking Committee Member, and Police Activities League Board Member.
